What is a multi-site energy contract?
A multi-site energy contract allows businesses to manage all of their energy bills through a single account. As businesses can operate from multiple sites such as offices and factories, a multi-site contract combines your bills into one billing account, making payment easier and cheaper.
Essentially, a multi site energy contract is an easy and efficient way of paying for your energy bills if you have more than one site within your business.
What are the benefits of having a multi-site energy contract?
There are many benefits to having a multi-site energy contract. Firstly, we can arrange bespoke payment set ups, whether you need individual Direct Debits or one joint one with itemised bills for each site.
With access to wholesale bespoke pricing, we can group the whole accounts usage together, enabling us to secure better rates compared to matrix offers.
In our experience, a lot of multi-site customers struggle to keep on top of renewals. With accounts being across many suppliers with multiple end dates, individual renewals can be difficult to keep track of. With a multi-site contract, we can provide a combined or co-terminus end date, meaning the energy renewal will only need to be dealt with once a year.
Estimate bills are also a big problem when dealing with multiple sites, but we can arrange for smart meters to be installed ensuring no bills will be estimated and there will be no unexpected debts on accounts.
What types of energy deals are available through multi-site contracts?
Larger customers have the ability to purchase their energy in a variety of different ways.
Fixed Price Contract – You will pay a fixed standing charge and unit rate for each kWh throughout your contract.
Passthrough Contract – with these contracts your energy is bought by the supplier at the start of the contract, but the non-commodity costs (industry taxes and levies) will be passed through at the prevailing rate.
Flex Contract – with these contracts we can either fix or passthrough the non-commodity costs, then the commodity (energy) will be purchased at various points in the contract, hoping to take advantage of drops in the market and following a purchasing strategy.

Which business energy suppliers offer multi-site energy deals?
All of our energy suppliers offer multi-site energy contracts, so we can change your current energy bills over to one multi-site tariff. Having multiple energy suppliers will usually mean you’ll have a variety of payment dates; with the multi-site contract you’ll have just one common end date.
