Community spirit in Bury raises over £3,000 for Ted Waring

Community spirit

community spirit in bury for the love of TedAt Exchange Utility, we believe that making a difference in our local area and inspiring community spirit is one of the most valuable experiences that we can get involved in as a business.

That’s why in the coming weeks, we have a range of fundraising activities planned to raise money for a local family who are going through an impossibly difficult time.

Raising community spirit in aid of Ted Waring

On Friday 25th November, Exchange Utility employees set out on a mission in the search of community spirit to help raise money for Ted Waring. Ted is 9 months old and has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. He is currently undergoing treatment for his condition, however, his family are in need of funds to help support them and their other children during this difficult time.

This is why we plucked up all of the community spirit that we could, to raise as much as we could to help their cause.

We had a fantastic response from local businesses, who donated range of prizes to be won in our raffle. We would like to thank these businesses for their support and generous donations!

 What community spirit can achieve

In just one day, with all of the activities that we facilitated, we managed to raise an impressive £3,000!

And it’s not over yet…

This is just the first in a range of events and fundraising activities that Exchange Utility will be hosting in order to help raise money for Ted and his family. We intend to continue building on Bury’s already captivating levels of community spirit to achieve our goal.

Wish us luck!
